Faculty Afoot

Dr. Guadalupe Correa-Cabrera, Professor in the Schar School of Policy and Government and IIR Faculty Affiliate, has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award to conduct research and teach in Mexico.

Professor Greet was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for the 2012-2013 academic year to work on her book “Transatlantic Encounters: Latin American Artists in Paris between the Wars."

Jo-Marie Burt, faculty member in the Department of Public and International Affairs and director of the Latin American Studies program, spent much of the last semester in Peru, where she earned an award for her human rights work.

Lisa Rabin, Associate Professor of Spanish, delivered peer-reviewed presentations at the Modern Language Association's annual conference in Los Angeles in January 2010; the American Studies Association Annual Conference in Baltimore, October 2011; the Mid-Atlantic Popular Culture Association's annual conference in Philadelphia, November 2011; and the New York Metro American Studies Association Annual Conference in New York, November 2011.
