Assistant Professor of Spanish Charlotte Rogers will spend July conducting research at Princeton University Library. A specialist in Latin American literature, Professor Rogers will study the papers of the Peruvian Nobel-prize winning author, Mario Vargas Llosa, for her new project "Mourning El Dorado: Amazonian Nostalgia in South American Fiction." The FRDA will enable her to study the first drafts of Vargas Llosa's novel The Green House, which figures prominently in her new project.
