Assistant Professor of Spanish Charlotte Rogers Awarded Mason Faculty Research and Development Award to spend Summer at Princeton

LAS Faculty Spotlight: Charlotte Rogers
Assistant Professor of Spanish Charlotte Rogers will spend July conducting research at Princeton University Library.  A specialist in Latin American literature, Professor Rogers will study the papers of the Peruvian Nobel-prize winning author, Mario Vargas Llosa, for her new project "Mourning El Dorado: Amazonian Nostalgia in South American Fiction."  The FRDA will enable her to study the first drafts of Vargas Llosa's novel  The Green House​, which figures prominently in her new project.
