Global Gender Justice: Overcoming Sexual and Gender Based Violence in the 21st Century
Throughout the world, women continue to encounter discrimination and inequality with authoritarian rule and conflict exacerbating the challenges affecting women. Impunity for sexual assault, harassment, rape and other forms of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence is becoming widespread but despite its prevalence, judicial systems have failed to sufficiently address these crimes. This panel will address global gender justice in order to create a dialogue on this critical subject.
