LAS Director Dr. Jo-Marie Burt publishes article on access to information and accountability in Peru

Dr. Jo-Marie Burt, Director of Latin American Studies and Associate Professor in the Department of Public & International Affairs, recently published an article entitled, Access to Information, Access to Justice: The Challenges to Accountability in Peru, in the Issue No. 18 of the academic journal SUR - International Journal on Human Rights, a biannual journal published in English, Portuguese and Spanish by Conectas Human Rights in Brazil. The article is co-authored with Casey Cagley (MA, Political Science, George Mason University). The article is part of a special issue produced in collaboration with Article 19 (Brazil/UK) and Fundar (Mexico) focusing on Information and Human Rights.
