3rd Annual Immigration Monologues: Human Voices in the Current Debate

The 3rd annual Immigration Monologues aims to elaborate upon the highly debated topic of immigration, which consistently acts as a hot-button political issue in Washington. However, it is clear that the overarching goal of appropriate discourse is to display the individual human experience of immigration.

Individuals, family members, and friends who are affected either directly or indirectly by immigration issues will perform short monologues, poetry, and spoken word in an effort to shed light upon the wide-reaching impact of immigration policies.  The event, hosted by the Hispanic Students Association, Mason DREAMers, La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity will take place on September 30th in the JC Cinema from 7-10pm.
