La Mora (Danis Perez) is a former principal dancer with Conjunto Folkloric Cutumba of Santiago, Cuba.  An internationally recognized artist, she is the artistic director of Oyu Oro, a highly acclaimed ensemble of dancers and musicians who recently completed a season at La Mama Theater in NYC.  La Mora currently teaches Afro-Cuban dance at the Alvin Ailey School.
