Interdisciplinary introduction to Latin American Studies. Examines the region's history, culture, and societies, as well as the different approaches, methodologies, and concepts related to the study of Latin America. Focuses on the experiences that shaped Latin America as a region, how the region impacts and is impacted by globalization, and on Latino/as in the United States. May not be repeated for credit.
